Jennifer Stowe and Chris Coyle of Cannelton were united in marriage during an afternoon ceremony held Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at Blue Heron Winery in Rocky Point.
The bride is the daughter of Pam Rogier of Cannelton and the late Barry Stowe. Mr. Coyle is the son of Bill and Julie Coyle of Tell City.
The bride was given away in marriage by her mother in the double-ring ceremony officiated by Judge Lucy Goffinet.
Edie Powers of Cannelton, sister of the bride, was chosen as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amie Coyle of Tell City, sister-in-law of the groom, Cassey Evans of Tell City, cousin of the bride, and Stacy Coyle of Gilbert Ariz., sister-in-law of the groom. Addison Coyle, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Logan Schipp of Tell City was chosen as best man. Groomsmen were Nathan Coyle of Tell City and Jason Coyle of Gilbert, Ariz., brothers of the groom, and Jason Crowe of Leitchfield, Ky.
Ushers were Ryan Power of Cannelton, brother-in-law of the bride, and Gib Smiley of Tell City.
Special vocalist was Shane Williams and guitarist Larry Peter provided music. The bride and groom presented roses to their mother while “Free” by the Zac Brown Band was performed.
A reception was held at the Perry County 4-H Fairgrounds following the ceremony. Charlotte Lloyd and Joyce Krusa, aunts of the bride, assisted at the reception.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Chris Coyle honeymooned at Sapphire Beach Resort in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and will reside in Cannelton.
The bride is a graduate of Cannelton High School and Indiana University Southeast, with a bachelor’s degree in business.
She works at VNA Plus Home Care and Hospice.
Mr. Coyle is a graduate of Cannelton High School and is employed at Tell City Housing Authority.
