Stiles earns crown at Miss American Co-Ed pageant in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS – Cassidy Stiles, the 14-year-old daughter of John Stiles and Angela Oakley, participated in the Miss American Co-Ed pageant in Indianapolis Aug. 2 through Aug. 4. She was crowned 2013 Junior Teen Miss Victory.

This crowning means that Stiles will participate in the Miss American Co-Ed Nationals pageant set for Nov. 24 through Dec. 1 at the Hilton Head Disney Resort in Orlando, Fla.
In addition to her crown title, Stiles was also recognized for Junior Teen Volunteer Services Award.
She had 190 volunteer hours in the past year, including volunteering at the United Caring Shelter in Evansville, junior counselor for two separate church camps, crew leader for vacation Bible school, The Junction Children’s Ministry and nursery at Santa Claus United Methodist Church.
Stiles also recently began as an ambassador for Youth Leadership Spencer County, which will consist of volunteer work for the county from July to April 2014 and culminate with a graduation.
Stiles is the granddaughter of Wayne Stiles and the late Betti Stiles. She is a freshman at Heritage Hills High School.
