PERRY COUNTY – The National Weather Service, in conjunction with the Indiana State Police, Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Indiana Department of Education, local broadcast media, Red Cross and amateur radio operators, will conduct a statewide test of local communications systems Wednesday.
A test of the Emergency Alert System will be conducted between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and again between 6:30 and 7 p.m. The alerts will be broadcast across radio and television stations as well as weather radios.
