State police investigate theft of telephone wire

ST. MEINRAD - Indiana State Police Detective Christopher Cecil is investigating the theft of telephone wire from Perry Spencer Communications, located at 11877 E. State Road 62 near St. Meinrad.

According to Cecil, Daren Brown, plant manager at the utility, reported that someone had removed $326.38 worth of wire. It's not known exactly when the theft occurred. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at (800) 742-7475.
