CANNELTON – Cannelton Mayor Mary Snyder reported March 10 a request for help repairing a road up “Catholic Hill,” as it’s known by city officials, has been denied.
As the News reported Nov. 14, the mayor had a representative of the Indiana Department of Transportation look at the road that extends from Washington Street northeast to become Cannelton Heights Road. Two spots along the route are falling away, she explained.
