Special judge named in case

TELL CITY - Dubois County Judge William Weikert will oversee the case of a Tell City man charged with plotting to kill his father.

Weikert accepted a special judge appointment in the case against Patrick Hagedorn. He was arrested last month after allegedly crashing his vehicle into the Tell City home of his father, attorney Michael Hagedorn, and allegedly pointed a shotgun at the elder Hagedorn.

Still jailed, Hagedorn faces two Class A felony charges of attempted murder.
