TELL CITY—Southridge edged Tell City in two long doubles matches to beat the Marksmen 3-2 in PAC boys tennis Tuesday.
The Marksmen slipped to 6-1 in the conference, ending their hopes for an outright PAC title. But they still had a chance to tie for the title Wednesday when they were scheduled to finish a previously postponed match with Gibson Southern, which is undefeated in the conference.
Southridge’s Ian Mathies and Jason King edged Austin Paulin and Jeff Yeung 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 in No. 1 doubles Tuesday.
