Southridge defeats PC girls

HUNTINGBURG—Kendyl Dearing and Victoria Schaefer combined for 38 points as Southridge defeated Perry Central 56-35 in girls basketball Thursday.
“Schaefer and Dearing hurt us in the first half (when the Raiders built a 35-18 lead),” said Perry Central Coach Bill Dickerson. “Those two guards are very, very good. We gave them too many shots and got down by 17.
“We actually played pretty well in the second half—we just can’t score.”
