LEOPOLD - South Spencer forced some turnovers with its pressure defense and hit some key three-point shots to beat Perry Central 55-47 in girls basketball Tuesday.
Perry Central led throughout the first quarter and built its lead to 19-11 when Lavina Schwartz hit two free throws with 6:23 left in the second quarter.
South Spencer outscored the Commodores 10-0 in a span of 57 seconds, though, to take the lead for good.
