South Perry Head Start students learn fire safety

During the month of October the children at the Lincoln Hills Development Corp. South Perry Head Start Classroom 3 enjoyed activities that helped them learn about fire safety.

An activity from the lesson plan included taking a trip to the fire station. The children learned what to do to keep themselves safe during a fire.  They also were able to see firsthand how a fireman looks in his gear and the purpose of their equipment during a fire.
