THE WILLIAM TELL Center will have their monthly carry-in dinner at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the center. The weekly dance will follow at 7 p.m. Crosswind will perform.
TWILIGHT TOWERS offers bingo and euchre games in its dining room. Bingo games are held every Wednesday and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and card games are held at 6 p.m. Thursdays and the first Monday of each month. The public is invited.
TELL CITY AMERICAN LEGION is once again hosting bingo games every Tuesday at the post home. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the first game begins at 7 p.m.
THE PCMH AUXILIARY will have its annual fall membership meeting at 8:30 a.m. Friday, beginning with breakfast in the hospital cafeteria dining room. You are encouraged to take any family members or friends who are interested in hearing more about the auxiliary. If you plan on attending, contact Mickey Fischer, president of the auxiliary, at 547-5691 or any of the auxiliary members by Wednesday to make your reservation and provide the number of guests who will attend. This will help in the preparation of the breakfast. The group will discuss their bazaar coming up in early November.
ST. MICHAEL CHURCH St. Ann Society will meet at 6 p.m. Oct. 21 in the Father Marendt Hall. There will be a business meeting, bingo and refreshments. Hostesses will be Mona Harding, Margaret “Peg” Hawhee, Judy Herzog and Jane Huber.
ALPHA PHI CHAPTER of Delta Kappa Gamma will meet at 10 a.m. Oct. 12 at Santa’s Lodge in Santa Claus. There will be a canned food drive and initiation of new members. Hostesses will be Anna Ward, Francie Wagner and Barb Wilkerson. Delta Kappa Gamma is an honorary society of women educators. Alpha Phi Chapter serves Perry and Spencer counties.
FRIDAY BOOK CLUB will host a special book review to celebrate its 75th anniversary at the Perry County Museum at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 11. Everyone is invited to attend this special free event. The guest speaker will be Eddie Price of Hawesville, Ky., an author and winner of a readers’ favorite award for his first book, “Widder’s Landing.” The public is encouraged to attend.
