PROSPECTIVE NEW MEMBERS are invited to attend the monthly meeting of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 213, scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the post home in Tell City. The organization always welcomes women who want to learn more about the auxiliary and its work. Charlotte Lindauer will preside at the meeting. All members are encouraged to attend.

THE ST. MICHAEL CHURCH ST. ANN SOCIETY will meet at 6 p.m. today in Father Marendt Hall. Hostesses will be Margaret Shank, Mary Jo Shellenberg, Pauline Thorn and Helen Wittman. Refreshments will be served and the meeting will be followed by bingo.

TWILIGHT TOWERS offers bingo and euchre in its dining room. Bingo is held Wednesdays and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. and card games are held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and the first Monday of each month. The public is invited.--

-THE WILLIAM TELL CENTER will host its weekly dance at 7 p.m. Saturday. Country Sunshine will perform. Cost is $5 and includes drinks and snacks. Card playing is every Tuesday at 6 p.m. Line dancing is every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. The public is invited to all events. Call 547-2714 for more information.

MU GAMMA CHAPTER OF BETA SIGMA PHI will meet for their Beginning Day at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Pour Haus in Tell City.

THE BRISTOW COMMUNITY CENTER filled seven euchre tables Wednesday evening. In first place with 89 points was Hubert Harpenau. Elvis Zehr came in second place with 87 points, followed by Regina Lasher in third place with 86 points. Ruthanne Harpenau took fourth place with 85 points.
