PROSPECTIVE NEW MEMBERS are invited to attend the monthly meeting of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 213, scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the post home in Tell City. The organization always welcomes women who want to learn more about the auxiliary and its work. Charlotte Lindauer will preside at the meeting. All members are encouraged to attend.

THE CLASS OF 1966 GAL PAL LUNCH will be held at noon Thursday, Aug. 14, at The Patio restaurant.

THE ST. MICHAEL CHURCH ST. ANN SOCIETY will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18 in Father Marendt Hall. Hostesses will be Margaret Shank, Mary Jo Shellenberg, Pauline Thorn and Helen Wittman. Refreshments will be served and the meeting will be followed by bingo.

THE BRISTOW COMMUNITY CENTER holds euchre games at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

TWILIGHT TOWERS offers bingo and euchre in its dining room. Bingo is held Wednesdays and Sundays at 1:30 p.m. and card games are held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and the first Monday of each month. The public is invited.--

THE WILLIAM TELL CENTER will host its weekly dance at 7 p.m. Saturday. The 3 For All Band will perform. Cost is $5 and includes drinks and snacks. Line dancing will return to Thursdays beginning Aug. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. Card playing is held every Tuesday at 6 p.m. The public is invited to all events. Call 547-2714 for more information. Karaoke with Donnie Tindle will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15.
