Smiles abound as senior athletes take aim at medals

TELL CITY - Senior athletes, most of them wearing sky-blue T-shirts, threw bean bags and washers, angled for mock fish and raced wheelchairs Monday in quests for gold, silver and bronze medals.

The annual Perry County Nursing Home and Assisted Living Games drew residents of Golden Living Center-Lincoln Hills and Oakwood Health Campus for friendly morning competition at Tell City American Legion Post 213.

The games are sponsored by the Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging. Winners in Monday's events were as follows:
