FERDINAND – The Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand have produced a three-DVD set and guidebook, “A Transformed Life,” intended to help viewers discover the meaning and purpose of their lives.
In six 45-minute conferences, Sister Maria Tasto OSB, guides viewers along the path of becoming who God created them to be. Using the lens of Scripture and inspired by the work of the Rev. Thomas Keating, Sister Maria shares what she has gleaned from years of walking with others on the spiritual journey and from her own path.
With profound insight and compassion, Sister Maria helps viewers to recognize their false selves, transform their attitudes and responses, deepen their relationships with God, and come into the fullness of life, where true happiness lies. She shares touching stories of how people have overcome their troubles to find personal freedom, including her own near-death ordeal.
“A Transformed Life” is suited for group discussion and reflection, or for individual enrichment. The guidebook, which includes a facilitator’s guide, complements the program for both groups and individuals.
Sister Maria is a founding member of the Resource Faculty of Contemplative Outreach. She first developed these conferences for Contemplative Outreach chapters throughout the world and has presented “A Transformed Life” to many groups, both lay and religious.
To purchase “A Transformed Life,” visit www.thedome.org/ATL, call (812) 367-2500, or visit the sisters’ monastery gift shop, For Heaven’s Sake, in Ferdinand. The three-DVD set and guidebook are available for $94.99. Additional guidebooks cost $9.95.
