Sibbitt says he’ll fix financial troubles by 2014

CANNELTON – Cannelton Schools Superintendent Al Sibbitt said at a regular school-board meeting Dec. 20 he was confident that the next time he presents a financial report, a $288,000 deficit in the school corporation’s general fund will be reduced by $88,000.

“The financial future of Cannelton (Schools) is looking brighter and brighter,” he told board members.
