FERDINAND – Seufert Construction has announced hiring of Andy Hagedorn as director of engineering and development.

Hagedorn, a native of Ferdinand, is a licensed professional engineer with previous experience working for INDOT and for the past seven years has served as director of facilities for Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Hagedorn will over-see the strategic  development and implementation of engineering, design and overall business growth initiatives for the company.
“Our company continues to pursue new and innovative ways to refine our delivery of design-build construction services and our growing list of customers has allowed us the opportunity to add even more expertise to our existing strong team of individuals,” said Brian Tretter, president of Seufert Construction. “Andy’s background in both construction engineering and medical management combined with his broad-based skill sets and knowledge are perfectly aligned with the needs of our company.”
Hagedorn joins Chuck Recker as one of Seufert Construction’s most recent hires.  Recker is a Project Manager for the company, bringing with him more than 26 years of experience in general construction management.
In addition to receiving his professional engineering license, Hagedorn holds a bachelor’s degree in both civil engineering as well as land surveying engineering from Purdue University.  Hagedorn resides in Ferdinand with his wife, Amy, and their three children.
