LEOPOLD—The University of Evansville’s strong engineering program helped the Aces land their latest men’s cross country recruit.
Perry Central senior Jake Schwartz, who signed Monday, said he chose the Aces because “it’s a smaller college, it has a pretty good engineering program, and I liked that they offered me to run there.”
Schwartz will receive a combination of academic and athletic scholarships that he said will probably pay most of his tuition at the private school, which competes in NCAA Division I.
