CANNELTON - Twenty-six children were already signed up for an after-school program promoting healthy third- through sixth-grade minds and bodies set to begin with the start of classes Tuesday, Cannelton Elementary Principal Ginger reported at a regular school-board meeting July 30.
She also said the Schergens Foundation provided $2,000 to upgrade classroom door locks.
"We appreciate their support in this project that aligns with our school-improvement plan," Conrad said.
