The Christmas spirit is in full swing in Perry County with various groups reaching out to help brighten the holidays for others, especially children. Perry County's Fraternal Order of Police lodge sponsored Sunday's Shop with a Cop. Nearly 30 youngsters from Perry and Spencer counties were treated to lunch at Tell City's Wal-Mart and spent time shopping with law-enforcement officers and in many cases, their spouses. Contributions to the program allowed officers to present clothing and toys to children and teens.
