LEOPOLD - After weekend visits to Cannelton and Tell City, Santa Claus will make a return visit to Perry County Sunday, this time to Leopold for that community's annual Christmas parade.

The event begins at 1 p.m. with lineup getting under way at 12:30 p.m. in the same staging areas used for past parades.

Floats will line up at Perry Central School with tractors and horse units assembling at the Leopold Conservation Club. Military entries and marching bands will gather at the site of the former James Store.

Visitors are asked to be in Leopold by 12:30 to avoid last-minute congestion. For safety reasons, no all-terrain vehicles will be allowed as stand-alone entries.

After the parade, Santa will be in the park to greet youngsters and take gift requests. Stepping Stones Preschool will sell food items. For more information, call Guillaume's Store at 843-5134.
