Safe Sitter babysitting classes in June

TELL CITY – Safe Sitter babysitting classes will be offered to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 1 and June 8 at the Perry County EMS building in Tell City. Attendance to only one class is needed.
The class is designed for 11-13 year olds to learn safety techniques for sitters, basic childcare skills, how to entertain children, babysitting as a business, CPR skills and what to do if a child chokes.
Class fee is $30 per student with partial scholarships available based on need. Registration and payment are due by May 18. Class size is limited.
