PERRY COUNTY – Lincoln Hills Development Corp.’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program presents two upcoming trips; the Loretta Lynn concert and tours in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., and an Amish tour in Montgomery through Toby Tours.
The Loretta Lynn concert and tour trip will be May 26 and 27 and will cost $255 per person, double occupancy. The package will include motor-coach transportation, one night lodging, two meals, Loretta Lynn’s concert, tours of Loretta Lynn’s plantation home, simulated replica coal mine, Butcher Hollow Homeplace and the 18,000 square-foot Coal Miner’s Daughter Museum, a free visit to her doll museum, grist mill and gift shops. The trip will also include a visit to the newly re-opened Opry Mills Mall in Nashville.
The Amish trip is scheduled for June 9 and will cost $59 per person. A step-on guide will take the group through the community to different stories and experience the Amish lifestyle. The group will also enjoy a home-cooked meal in an Amish home.
