CANNELTON – Rock the River for Lydia’s Wish, a poker run and music festival to benefit Lydia Haycraft, will be held Saturday at the Rocky Point Waterfront Grille.
The poker run will begin with an 8 a.m. signup at Rocky Point. First bikes will be out at 10 a.m. and last bikes out will be at 11:30. All vehicles are welcome to participate. Cost is $20 per hand and $30 for double hands. This cost includes coffee and doughnuts, admission to the music festival and a meal.
Prizes, raffles and half pots will be drawn all day long. Stops for the poker run will be at the Waterfront Grille, Pan Head Fred’s, Santa Claus American Legion and Derby Tavern. All vehicles will return to the Waterfront Grille by 4:30 p.m.
The music festival will begin at 11 a.m. and cost is $5 per person or $10 per car.
Andrew Estes will perform at 11 a.m., followed by Jake Braunecker at noon, Eric Board at 1 p.m., Mike Roos at 2 p.m., J.C. Stone and Brent Herzog at 3 p.m., Bind-Dog-Gatewood at 4 p.m., Boscoe France Blues Band at 5 p.m., The Hiding at 7 p.m., The Linda Smith Band at 9 p.m. and a DJ playing songs from 10:30 p.m. to midnight.
Activities and games will be provided for kids all day. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for $8 each. Alcohol will be available.
Those attending are asked to take lawn chairs.
Proceeds will benefit Lydia Haycraft, a local 6-year-old cancer patient. Cash donations for Lydia may also be made to Lydia’s Wish at Fifth Third Bank in Tell City.
