TELL CITY – Will Roberts has earned the right to advance as a finalist in the Voice of Democracy Essay Contest after presenting his essay, “Is Our Constitution Still Relevant?” Jan. 12 at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2939 in Tell City.

He argued that in addition to remaining relevant throughout the nation’s history, the Constitution provides a foundation that allowed America to become a superpower, facilitates a fair judicial system and guarantees individual rights.

The Tell City Junior-Senior High School senior was competing with students from all Perry County high schools and will represent Indiana’s Eighth District at the state level.
