Robbery suspect doesn't make it far

CANNELTON - A man who allegedly grabbed a wad of cash from a Cannelton convenience store office was quickly nabbed early Monday after a city officer found him in Tell City.

William Bacon, 26, of 11218 S. 18th Ave., Apartment 301, Tacoma, Wash., faces charges of theft and burglary. He was taken to Perry County Jail and held on $5,500 bail.
