Alicia Ricklef and Michael Hawa announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Shirley Ricklef of Dale and the late Rev. Ricklef. Mr. Hawa is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Michael Hawa of Newburgh and the grandson of Gloria Wahl of Cannelton.
Both the bride-elect and Mr. Hawa are graduates of the University of Southern Indiana with bachelor degrees in nursing. They are currently pursuing nurse practitioner degrees.
They are each currently employed in the intensive-care unit at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
The wedding will be a Catholic Mass celebrated with family and friends.
