Stein
GRANDVIEW – Opal Foertsch and Jackie Demlow of Salem, and Suzanne Rhoden of Maryville, Tenn., hosted the Stein family reunion June 25 at the Grandview Civic Center.

Scott
TROY – A two-day celebration of the Scott family was held July 2 and 3. The July 3 festivities were held at the Troy Senior Center, where family members celebrated their family heritage. A pledge of allegiance to the flag as quoted by Red Skelton was give by Brad Scott of Troy.
It was followed by a presentation by Andrew Jensen from Lawrenceville, Ga., re-enacting a portrayal of the life of his great-great-grandfather, who was a circuit rider minister serving five counties in Indiana. He also served as a chaplain in the civil war. He lived in Huffman and died in 1899 at the age of 66.
Cullen Scott led the group in a prayer, which was followed by a meal. Dave Parman, Joe and Bertha Sumner from Vincennes entertained by playing hymns and bluegrass music.

The meeting concluded with visiting and awarding of door prizes.

BRISTOW – The Riley and Martha (Jeffers) Aders family will hold a family reunion Sunday, July 24 at St. Isidore Hall in Bristow.
The day will begin with a basket dinner at 12:30 p.m. Family members are encouraged to take stories and family photos for scrapbooks.

Putzer – Puertzer
EVANSTON – All descendants of Nichalous and Kungunde Puertzer-Putzer are invited to a family reunion July 23 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Evanston.
Registration will be at 10 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon.
All local families are asked to take a salad or dessert. Cost of the lunch is $7.

TELL CITY – The Tell City High School Class of 1991 will hold a class reunion from 7 to 10 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Knights of Columbus in Tell City.

30 at Bill and Dave’s Smokin’ Pit restaurant.

CANNELTON – The Tell City High School Class of 2006 officers would like to welcome all classmates and spouses to The Patio Steakhouse for the class’ five-year reunion.
