South Spencer schools
ROCKPORT – The alumni of South Spencer Schools will hold a meeting at 1 p.m. today at the Spencer County Library in Rockport.
All graduates from Grandview, Luce Township, Rockport and South Spencer high schools are welcome to attend.

ROCKPORT – The Rust family will gather for a reunion Sept. 15 at the Oakridge Community building in Rockport.
A meal will begin at 4:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to take a covered dish.

TROY – The William and Matilda (Beard) Mullen family will gather for a reunion at noon Sunday at Our Father’s House of Worship, 630 Walnut St. Troy.
Everyone is asked to take a dish, drink, games for activities and any photos for remembering “Back When...”

LEOPOLD – The Devillez family reunion will be held in conjunction with the 175th anniversary of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold Sept. 15 and 16.
The descendants of Antioine Francois Devillez (born in 1818) and Marie Francoise (Thiery) Devillez (born in 1822), and brother Henry Devillez (born in 1826) and Mary Magdaline (Goffinet) Devillez (born in 1831), immigrants from Belgium who came to Leopold, are invited to gather from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 15 in the air-conditioned parish hall of the church.
Tables will be available to share family information in any form. Computers with RG adapters and digital projection will also be available.

Faulkenburg – Newton
BIRDSEYE – The descendants of the James C. and Hannah (Newton-Enlow) Faulkenburg family will host a reunion Sept. 16 at the Patoka Lake Shelter House No. 1.
James and Hannah’s children were Ida, James and Leora Enlow and Mack, Ella, Charles Edward, Minnie and Essie Faulkenburg.
Those attending are asked to take a covered dish and drink. Lunch will start at around noon.

Oil Township 1962
TELL CITY – The Oil Township High School Class of 1962 will have its 50th class reunion at 6 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Patio Steak House in Tell City.

PCHS 1992
ROCKY POINT – The Perry Central High School Class of 1992 will hold its 20-year reunion Sept. 22 at the Blue Heron Vineyard Farm, 7757 Indiana 66 E, five miles east of Cannelton, near Rocky Point. Social hour will be at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. A cash win bar will be available.

PCHS 1972
LEOPOLD – The Perry Central High School Class of 1972 has set its 40th reunion for 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at Bill & Dave’s Smokin’ Pit in Tell City.

GRANDVIEW – The annual reunion for the descendants of Johann Jacob Sauter will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Grandview Civic Center. A carry in meal will start at noon.

BRISTOW – The LaGrange family reunion will be held Sept. 22 at St. Isidore Catholic Church Hall near Bristow. Family members are asked to arrive by noon and a carry-in dinner will be served beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Family members are asked to take a dish, serving utensils and drinks for their family. Each family attending is asked to take at least one item of memorabilia to display, such as photos, printed stories or anything of interest that connects to the past. Photos should be accompanied by a caption identifying those in the picture and the situation. Any and all items about family history that might be interesting to others are also welcome.
Sound equipment will be provided for a family jam session following the meal. Those attending are also asked to take games, such as cornhole. Name tags will be available in six colors so all can be identified as belonging to one of the families of the children of Louis and Sally LaGrange: Oscar, Levi, Thomas, Thelma, Everitt or Stella.

PCHS 1977
TELL CITY – The Perry Central High School Class of 1977 will hold its 35-year reunion from 5 to 10 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Patio Steak House in Tell City.
The banquet room has been reserved for the reunion. Supper will be offered from the buffet with soft drinks and tea available.

CHS 1962
CANNELTON – Members of Cannelton High School Class of 1962 are invited to join classmates for two events next month. The class will catch up and reminisce at 5 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Iron Gate in Cannnelton. A formal reunion will be held at 5 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Patio Steakhouse.
Also invited are members of 196 and 1963. Reservations are necessary and can be made by calling Bob Olberding at 547-3792 or Jack Boyce at (317) 364-6285. “We look forward to seeing everyone,” Boyce said.
