Regional workshop on farm financial recordkeeping coming to SW Indiana

DALE – The Farm Financial Recordkeeping for Farm Women Program is a two evening program that will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 26 and Feb. 2 at the Lincoln Heritage Library in Dale.
The program is being offered by the Purdue Women in Ag Team and Farm Credit Services of Mid-America.
Financial recordkeeping is important task to the farm business for several reasons.
It provides the information needed to complete tax forms accurately and the records are used many times when requesting funds from banks for operating loans or to purchase more farm ground.
It is also a key component in making farm decisions as the farm moves forward to meet goals that have been set.
Pre-registration for the program is required and the cost to attend is $30.
