Rebels hold off Cannelton

ELIZABETH—Cannelton made more kills than usual but lost to South Central 24-26, 25-20, 25-20, 25-23 in volleyball Thursday.
“We came off the bus not really ready to play after the long drive,” said Cannelton Coach Felicia Myers.
“We were very sluggish and slow to get started each game, and by the time we got started it was almost too late.
“We did set the ball up probably more than we have any game this year, though. We had 80 spikes and 36 free balls.”
