FERDINAND - Forest Park's superior size inside helped the Rangers beat Perry Central 79-66 in boys basketball Saturday.
Jordan Myers, the Rangers' 6-foot-8 junior center, had 22 points and 11 rebounds and hit 9 of 12 shots from the field.
He hit one 12-foot shot from the wing but his other eight field goals came from within 7 feet of the basket, including two on rebounds.
And when the Commodores collapsed two people on him, he made some nice passes to teammates for backdoor layups.
