It is quite evident that the Ramseys put much thought and effort into planning a home that requires low maintenance while providing a space that allows for comfortable entertaining of family and friends.
The Springs was built in 2009 after a more than two-year planning stage. Thirteen total units comprise The Springs.
The Ramseys’ condo is located on the third level and contains approximately 3,000 square feet.
While planning the design of their particular unit, the Ramseys focused on maximum storage and ample space for large family gatherings.
The entry hall is filled with exquisite wall art, with artist-decorated tray ceilings.
Despite the intricate artwork and impressive design, it is quite evident that the Ramsey couple places a huge emphasis on the importance of family.
Senior pictures of all six of their children who graduated in the 1970s and early 1980s are proudly on wall display. In addition, a showcase exhibits photos of all of the Ramsey grandchildren. The fireplace mantel holds a clock that was a 50th wedding anniversary gift from their children.
Well thought-out design plans produced various dining areas that met their expectations of adequate seating for 26 guests. A focal point of the dining room is a crystal chandelier mounted from an 11-foot tray ceiling.
The open floor plan also includes the kitchen and living room in the same space offering a view of the Ohio River. The open layout was influenced by designs commonly seen in modern Florida homes.
The kitchen features an island with a slide-out mixer and appliances. Cherry cabinetry, granite countertops and faux tray insets in gold and copper tones are also highlights of the kitchen area. An office-den is located off the kitchen.
Two balconies overlooking the river are located on the condo. While most floors are covered with either carpet or marble, the enclosed sunroom balcony boasts a heated tile floor, which allows for year-round use.
The master bath is a spacious area with striking lighting and eye-catching mirrors.
The massive walk-in closets accommodate both his and hers storage.
A community room and an exercise room within The Springs are available to all tenants.
The community space contains a bar, kitchen and seating areas.
