Rain forces postponements

Most sports events involving Perry County teams Wednesday through Friday were postponed because of rain.

Tell City's boys golf match at Boonville Wednesday was rained out and had not been rescheduled at press time.

Tell City's girls tennis match at Tecumseh was rained out Thursday and Friday, the second and third times it has been postponed.

It has been rescheduled for today at 4:30 p.m.

Tell City's PAC baseball game at Southridge Thursday and at home against Heritage Hills Friday were also postponed.

The Southridge game was scheduled to be made up this past Saturday at Tell City after the Marksmen faced Mount Vernon.

Tell City is scheduled to play Heritage Hills a second time, May 21, at Heritage Hills. So that game may be moved to Tell City and count as the conference game.

Perry Central has had to cancel non-conference baseball and girls softball games to make up PLAC games that were rained out Thursday.

The Commodores' PLAC home baseball game with West Washington has been rescheduled for May 19, when the Commodores were originally scheduled to play Heritage Hills.

The Commodores' PLAC home softball game with Mitchell has been rescheduled for this Thursday, May 15, when the Commodores' were originally scheduled to play South Spencer.

Tell City's home girls softball game with Boonville Thursday was also rained out and has not been rescheduled.
