Rain forces postponement of Tell City parade to Sunday

TELL CITY - Sunday afternoon's steady rainfall caused the postponement of Tell City's annual Christmas parade and organizers have rescheduled the event for 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. Also rescheduled are visits with Santa Claus, caroling and other Christmas in the Park activities at City Hall Park.

Lineup for Sunday's parade begins at 4:30 in the Tell City High School student parking lot. For more information on activities in the park Sunday, call Kaye Kleeman at 547-5875 or City Hall at 547-5511. For more information on the parade, call Brian Melton at 547-3441 or 547-6043.
