TELL CITY—Southridge won nine of 15 events to beat Tell City 73-50 in girls track Tuesday.
The Raiders swept all three places in three events.
A highlight for Tell City was its sweeping the three places in the 1600-meter run. Sarah Goffinet won it in 5:50.7, Tiffany Davis was second in 5:50.9, and Andyn Rowe was third in 6:20.
Goffinet also won the 3200 in 13:14 and Rowe placed second in 13:32.
Those two teamed with Brittany Waninger and Davis to win the 3200 relay in 11:05.
Davis, Courtney Young, Katlyn Braunecker and Elizabeth Kohnert won the 1600 relay in 4:36.71.
Davis also won the 800 in 2:39.39 and Kohnert won the high jump by clearing 5 feet, 1⁄2 inch.
Kohnert placed second in the long jump at 14 feet, 1⁄4 inch and in the 400 dash in 1:07.61.
Braunecker took second in the 200 in 28.83 seconds and Kayla Galloway was second in the discus with a 90-foot-7 throw.
Young placed third in the 300 hurdles in 58.53.
Tell City, 1-1, will host Northeast Dubois and Tecumseh for a triangular meet Monday at 5 p.m.
