Public library announces plans for annual writing contest

PERRY COUNTY – It is time again for Perry County Public Library’s annual writing contest, Story Mania! The Teen Advisory Group announced this year’s contest would be short stories. Below are the guidelines for the contest. For more information, contact Lisa Hammack at the library at 547-2661.
Guidelines for Story Mania! :
Any teen in seventh to 12th grades who is a resident of Perry County
Open subject, open genre, but no sexual content, profanity or extreme violence.
Winning stories from previous years should not be resubmitted.
