Property-tax deadline looms

PERRY COUNTY - Several Perry County offices will be open late Tuesday to accept fall property-tax payments due that day.

The offices of treasurer, auditor, assessor and recorder will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday. The courthouse is closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day.

Taxpayers can make property-tax payments at the following Old National Bank locations: the main branch at 529 Main St. and the drive-in next to the Main Street location. Payments can also be made at the Southside branch, which will be open until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
