PERRY COUNTY - Perry Countians working to prepare their tax returns for the IRS will soon have another tax deadline to remember: May 10.
That's when local property-tax bills will be due. Though May 10 is the traditional deadline for spring installments, property owners haven't seen a spring deadline in several years as the state changed the way it assesses the value of properties and calculations for various deductions.
