LEOPOLD - Perry Central School Board President Charlie Etienne gave first readings to 18 new and amended school policies at a regular meeting Nov. 19.
The verbiage he introduced, which received the school board's blessing and will be presented for final adoption next month, was made necessary by changes in state law, or in some cases, entirely new laws adopted by legislators and were recommended by NEOLA Inc., a company that helps school districts develop and update board bylaws and policies and administrative guidelines.
