Policeman kicked by out-of-control woman

TELL CITY - A Dubois County woman already on her way to the county jail added battery on a police officer to her list of charges after allegedly kicking a Tell City police sergeant May 18.

Jeannie D. Rhoads, 37, of 108 Kentucky St., Holland, was arrested by Sgt. Lynn Wooldridge at Days Inn Motel after a dispatcher received a call that Rhoads was out of control and had battered others in the room. Officers said Rhoads refused to follow verbal orders to quit fighting and had to be stopped by an electric stun gun.
