Fire destroys mobile home
ROME – A Feb. 1 fire destroyed a mobile home on Thrifty Road. Central Perry volunteer firefighters were paged at 12:53 a.m. after Christina Harrison dialed 911 to report her mother-in-law’s mobile home was on fire. She said the trailer was vacant at the time.
Firefighters were at the scene until shortly after 2 a.m. Perry County Chief Deputy Daymion Marsh was called and Perry County EMS stood by at the scene. Marsh said Friday he did not believe a cause had been determined.
