Plunge to help to unite kids with service dogs

-A A +A

CANNELTON – A team of five individuals from around the area will gather at 10 a.m. March 26 at the Perry Marine boat dock in Rocky Point for a plunge to help raise money for a local girl suffering from epilepsy.
For every $50 raised, a member of the team will take a plunge into the cold water. Money raised will help Victoria Brucken, a 17-year-old Cannelton resident, receive a seizure alert dog.
Denise Dimmett, Brucken’s mother, said the group would like to make this an annual event to help raise funds for others in need of service dogs.
