NASHVILLE—Perry Central senior Cathryn Peter qualified for the state cross country meet for the third year in a row with her performance in the Brown County semistate Saturday.
But neither Perry Central team advanced. The top six teams of each gender’s 20-team field qualified for state, but Perry Central finished seventh in the boys race and 13th in the girls race.
The top 15 individuals also advanced. Peter placed 12th in the girls race in 19:00.2, her best time ever.
