Tashia Peter and Zach McCallister were united in marriage Sept. 21, 2013, during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold.

The Rev. Dennis Duvelius officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Janet Peter of Tell City.

Mr. McCallister is the son of Jerry and Melissa Craig of Tell City.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Alisa Peter of Evansville, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Matron of honor was Katie Gelarden of Tell City, a friend of the couple.

Bridesmaids were Amber Taylor of Tell City, Bridget Schmitt of Jasper, Kesha Gelarden of Tell City, all friends of the bride and Lauren Kellems of Tell City, sister of the groom.

Ryan Gelarden of Tell City and Shane Gelarden of Tell City, both friends of the groom, served as best men.

Groomsmen were Tim Taylor of Tell City, Heath LaGrange of Bloomington and Jon Melberg of Tell City, all of friends of the couple, and Marcus Peter of Tell City, brother of the bride.

Drew Craig and Darrian Craig of Tell City, brothers of the groom, served as ushers during the ceremony.

Ty Gelarden, friend of the couple, served as ring-bearer. Lana Peter, aunt of the bride, and Shelly Goodrich, a cousin of the bride, were readers at the ceremony.

Bubbles were distributed by Emma and Daniel Goodrich, cousins of the bride.

Pam Henrickson and God’s Players provided special music.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Schergens Center in Tell City.

Assisting at the reception were Deann Edwards, Natalie LaGrange, Jen Bryant and Jaylynn Bryant.

The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya Cancun in Mexico.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Perry Central High School and graduated in 2009 from Ivy Tech Community College. She is a certified medical assistant at Perry County Family Practice.

Mr. McCallister is a 2006 graduate of Perry Central High School and graduated in 2010 from Ivy Tech Community College.

He is employed by Casey Electric as an electrician and is currently enrolled in an independent electric contractors master electrician program.
