LANESVILLE - Perry Central hit only 31.9 percent from the field and committed 23 turnovers in a 49-38 girls basketball loss to Lanesville Monday.
Perry Central built a 10-point lead once in the first half and still led 22-21 at halftime.
But Lanesville outscored the Commodores 10-3 in the third quarter to take the lead for good.
"They were patient," said Perry Central Coach Sarah Spindler of the Eagles. "They set really good screens and we had a little trouble getting through them."
