LINCOLN CITY—Ashley Graves had 32 points, 13 rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals as Perry Central beat South Spencer 63-42 in the first round of the PSC Holiday Tip-Off girls basketball tourney Saturday morning.

She had another big game Saturday night with 28 points, 25 rebounds and five blocks against Heritage Hills. But Heritage Hills won 48-44 to clinch first place in the four-team, round-robin tourney.
Graves, a 6-foot-1 senior center, hit 11 of 14 shots from the field and 10 of 11 free throws against South Spencer. She did not play in the fourth quarter, as the Commodores had a 56-35 lead entering that period.
Brittany Parker added 19 points, seven assists and six rebounds for Perry Central that game. Erica Hill also grabbed six rebounds.
The Commodores hit 19 of 45 from two-point range but only 3 of 14 three-point shots for 37.3 percent total field-goal shooting. They hit 16 of 20 free throws.
They did not shoot as well against Heritage Hills, hitting only 30.2 percent from the field and 64.3 percent at the line.
Heritage Hills, which also often struggles with its shooting, got an unexpected boost from sophomore guard Greer Neff. She hit three three-point shots in a two-minute span—the most she has ever hit in an entire game—to give the Patriots a 27-17 lead with 4:15 left in the second quarter.
They led the rest of the way, though Perry Central cut the gap to two points three times in the fourth quarter and missed three inside shots that would have tied the game with over two minutes left.
Graves hit 11 of 21 from the field, including 0 for 2 from three-point range.
Lynsay Goffinet added 10 points, including two three-pointers in the first minute of the game.
Hayli Scott led Heritage Hills with 16 points.
