LANESVILLE—Perry Central held Lanesville to 11.4 percent field-goal shooting to beat the Eagles 47-21 in girls basketball Monday.
Holding the Eagles to one shot on most possessions helped the Commodores hold them to five field goals, including none in the third quarter.
“We did a good job defensively of keeping them out of the paint and off the rebounds,” said Perry Central Coach Ty Guillaume.
The Commodores outrebounded the Eagles 41-21, with the Eagles getting only five offensive rebounds compared with 16 for Perry Central.
