HUNTINGBURG - Travis Goffinet shot a 7-over-par 43 to lead Perry Central to second place in a boys triangular golf match Wednesday.

Southridge won with 162 strokes. Perry Central shot 189 and South Spencer 199.

Besides Goffinet, Perry Central scorers were Zach Rogier and Charlie Weatherholt each with a 47 and Zach Graves 52.

Graves, usually the Commodores' leader, had a little trouble on the fourth hole as he hit two shots in the water.

Anthony Rennie, who shot a 54, and Blake Kleaving, 56, also played for the Commodores.

Each team also had a seventh man play an unofficial round. Perry Central's Logan Shearn shot a 51 and would have been the Commodores' fourth scorer if his round had counted.

Bryson Bolling of Southridge was the medalist with a 36.

Perry Central will play Northeast Dubois at Jasper Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
