Perry Central School filled with special folks

-A A +A

Perry County folks keep telling me that they enjoy reading my letters to the editor, so I’ll try to write when my time permits. I am very busy with my music concerts.

After reading your interesting account of 1937 flood, my heart really went out to those fine folks in Perry County who had to endure that catastrophic disaster. God bless them.

I am so happy that the late Edgar Etienne, then superintendent of the Perry Central schools, hired me to teach at Perry Central in the spring of 1965.

I think God guided me to that wonderful place.

Many years ago I put my life in the hands of God. So many wonderful things have happened to me since then. One such thing happened to me Jan. 15 at Perry Central High School.

I am in the process of writing an article about that event. I am also waiting for a picture.

So, in the meantime, I want to thank all those special folks at Perry Central for the nice things they did for me last month

I enjoy reading the Perry County News very much. I am glad that it is published twice a week.
